Petit Lot Semillon Sauvignon Blanc

Windows Estate Petit Lot Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from two blocks on the estate vineyard in the Margaret River right on the border of Yallingup and Wilyabrup.

The Semillon is grown on an ironstone and laterite ridge, while the Sauvignon Blanc grows in soil with a greater clay and quartz component.

The fruit is hand harvested when its natural acidity is high. The Semillon (70%) and Sauvignon Blanc (30%) are vinified separately. The whole berries of both are chilled and pressed to tank to ferment naturally.

The Semillon is racked to French oak to complete fermentation. After the two varieties are blended, a portion of the final blend is aged in oak a further nine months.

Pale lemon, Windows Estate Petit Lot Semillon Sauvignon Blanc balances the Semillon's vibrant citrus flavours and the Sauvignon Blanc's mineral acidity. Cellaring potential is five years.
